Sabarmati Ashram stands as a testimony to the role played by Mahatma Gandhi in the country's Independence. It’s like a museum which contains numerous paintings and photos telling Gandhi's story.

Swaminarayan temple is known for its architectural magnificence apart from its religious significance. Bright colours, widely used in Gujarati and Rajasthani culture, are found all over the interior and exterior of the temple. Pilgrims go there to get the blessings of Lord Nar Narayan, but it also has images of Dharma Dev, Bhakti Mata and Harikrishna.

Adalaj Stepwell ;  This stepwell used to be the source of water to villagers and travellers in its prime. But today, people visit this enormous five-storey structure to get awestruck with detailed carvings on the walls. Islamic style engravings blend seamlessly with different Hindu symbols and other depictions of day to day activities. Also, the temperature inside is lower than the surroundings.

Akshardham Temple sprawls over an area of 23 acres. It is a place for education, enlightenment and entertainment, apart from a sacred site for Lord Swaminarayan. The walls and pillars of the temple and the halls are all covered with delicate stone carvings. Lush green lawns and gardens further add to its beauty.

Hutheesing Jain Temple

This remarkably elegant temple created out of white marble has been sacred to many Jain families, generation after generation. It was built in 1848 A.D. at an estimated cost of 10 lakh rupees by a rich merchant Sheth Hutheesing as a dedication to the 15th Jain Tirthankara, Shri Dharmanatha. 

ISKON Temple An enduring religious landmark, the temple reflects a perfect mix of Gujarati, Rajasthani and Sompura architectural styles. This captivating temple draws hordes of believers throughout the country. Devotees can hear constant recitation of holy name of Hare Krishna.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Museum

The museum stands on the same address as Moti Shahi Mahal, a palace built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan between 1618 and 1622. One of the biggest inclusions for ornamentation included the Shahibaug gardens that were brimming with noble cypresses, cedars, palms, sandals, and cassias, with mango, tamarind, and other fruit trees. 

Vishwa Van

It is a Global Forest and offers a natural aesthetic beauty. The thought of Vishwa Van was conceptualized by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, who after guiding the construction of Statue of Unity in just 46 months, envisioned the integrated development of Kevadia on the theme of Unity in diversity.

Sardar Sarovar Dam

Sardar Sarovar Dam is the world’s second biggest dam as far as size and volume. The Dam is situated on the Narmada River in the State of Gujarat with biggest water conveying capacity of 40000 cusec. Ascending at a tallness of 138 meters, Sardar Sarovar Dam has the longest waterway arrange on the planet. It has the hydroelectricity age capacity of 1450 uber watts. Sardar Sarovar Dam is a key fascination for travelers and architects for its great perspectives and utilization of the designing innovation.

Nauka Vihar: Gujarat State Forest Development Corporation Ltd. (GSFDC) has initiated Boat ride in Dyke-3 known as Panchmuli Lake in Kevadia as a part of eco-tourism activity. Boating facility has been developed with the help of an external professional entity. Tourists coming to Kevadia are also enjoying the pristine nature with this boat ride. 

Statue of Unity

The person who prevailed upon British pioneers in the Satyagrah of Kheda and Bardoli, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was the Bismarck of Modern India, who drove the welfare of agriculturists. He is famous as the planner of free India, as he joined all various 562 regal states to manufacture one incredible Republic of India. Shri Narendra Modi chose to pay good tribute which will be appreciated for quite a long time by the entire world and it will end up being a matter of pride for each Indian for this extraordinary man. Worked in under five years, it is the world’s tallest, most amazing and goliath statue. It is a tribute to the man who joined India, Sardar Patel.

Valley of flowers

A one-of-its-kind garden, the Valley of Flowers is spread across 600 acres, which is 6 kms away from Vindhyachal and 11 kms away from Satpuda range. What began as a garden with 48,000 plants in 2016 went on to nurture 2,40,000 plants in three years.

Butterfly Garden

When it comes to gazing at nature’s beauty, nothing compares to the fluttering wings of butterflies. The Butterfly Garden is one-of-its-kind garden, which nurtures plentitude of 38 species of butterflies flying across 6 acres of landscaped area with 45 species of plants. Apart from places for butterflies to lay eggs and plants for caterpillars to thrive, there are interactive spaces created for selfies that enable you to carry along your memories of the Butterfly Garden.

The Cactus Garden

A unique and fascinating plant with a multitude of shapes and sizes, the cactus can withstand extremely harsh environments with thorns and spikes all over them. Gujarat Ecological Education and Research (GEER) Foundation, an autonomous body set up by the Forests & Environment Department, Govt. of Gujarat has taken the initiative of creating a Cactus Garden spread across 836 square metres nestling over 500 species of cactus and succulent plants.


Laser Light and Sound Show: A Light and Sound show using laser technology projected on the Statue of Unity takes place every evening except Monday. The colourful laser lighting system is accompanied by an excellent narration of the history and life of Sardar Patel, his contribution to the Independence Movement and the unification of India as one nation.

Nilkanthdham

A beautiful construction established on the lands of Poicha, Nilkanth Dham is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. It is constructed by the banks of Narmada River with zone, the Park Zone, Kids Play zone, Food Court and many much more. The light shows at evening attract many visitors at Nilkanthdham, where the sight of vibrant light and sound leaves them asking for more, amid the serene environs soaked in spirituality.
